Tips to keep your pet cool:
Keep your pet indoors with air conditioning
Access to fresh water at all times
Shaded area with grass/dirt to lay on (concrete can become too hot)
Add ice cubes to water bowl.
Avoid taking your pet on a run/walk during the highest temperature of the day. Before taking your pet for a walk/run place the palm of your hand on the pavement or concrete. If your able to hold it there for 10 seconds its ok to walk/run.
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET IN THE CAR. SEE CHART FOR POTENTIAL CAR AIR TEMPERATURES.
