Fleas, Ticks, & More
Fleas and ticks are not only pesky pest but they can also harm your pets health. Your pet can become anemic if they have been feasted on by fleas & ticks for a while. Ticks can also transfer diseases to your pet such as Lyme Disease.
With the increase of temperature it stimulates fleas to emerge from the pupae stage, BUT FLEAS CAN SURVIVE COLD TEMPERATURES AS WELL if they are on dogs, cats, wild mammals, or still in pupal stage.
Having your pet protected and on flea and tick prevention is less of a hassle then cleaning and ridding your home of them once they have arrived. Not only is it less of a hassle but you will be happy too. Sometimes it can take 2-3 months to rid your home of fleas if you have an infestation. We recommend washing all bedding and blankets, vacuum & sweep at least once a day, and maintain your pet on a recommended flea preventative for at least 3 months straight.
Thereare different types of prevention that you can start your pet on. Some products protect against only fleas, fleas and ticks, heartworm and fleas, and etc. **We recommend to always speak to with your Veterinarian prior to starting your pet on any prevention.**
